Date Night

So....I am not going on a date anytime soon and I won't be buying this outfit anytime soon either (have you SEEN the price tags?) BUT...a girl can always dream...and so, Polyvore.com was invented. Probably by a girl like me who loves to dream and plan for a day that may never come...and for girls like me who have a heck of a lot to do but instead choose to sit and dream...

Isn't this outfit dreamy? Ahhhhhhh....I love it. :)

I put it together myself. Not sure if it is Stacey and Clinton worthy but it's so ME.

Time to wake up now and go on far less exciting adventures like a trip to Laundry Land and Dishes Island...both have undergone some savage storms of late and need major clean up in aisles 1 thru 1, 345, 678.

(Sigh)

French Country Inspiration

Sooooooo...I've been requested by my Nana (Dad's mom) to decorate a special room in her home. It's going to be her own private getaway...a place where she can go to relax and unwind...a place that is 100% HER. Her specific style request?

French Country.

So, I've been thinking about it...doing some research etc...

Not 100% sure what the french country look is really all about...

Worked on a little "inspiration sketch" on Polyvore this afternoon and came up with a few pieces that I think may work as a basic idea of the direction we'll go with it...(please ignore that hook rack thing...I tried to delete it but it wouldn't go away I thought that when I moved it out of the way, it wouldn't be in the set. Oh well)

French Country?

And now introducing...

My very favorite new site...

...Polyvore!

Only downside is I literally spent HOURS on there today.

I created this entire look on my own and my inspiration was my post on my love of all things french.

It's my first attempt (of many, I am sure) with Polyvore...hope that you like it!

Check it out if you have a few extra hours in your day to spend in creative mode: www.polyvore.com
