A couple of weeks ago, my friend, Sande, posted a link on her facebook letting her friends know about a give-away/contest Zondervan was having. It was for a FREE Busy Mom's Bible for the first 5,000 entrants. All we were required to do was leave our address and a picture of our family on their site and they would ship our FREE Bible out to us. Did I mention that it was FREE? Seriously. I was sooooo SIKED! Like a kid on Christmas, I tell you. For those of you who REALLY know me, you know that I have a bit of an obsession with Bibles. New and pretty ones to be exact. I don't even know how many I have owned over the years...A LOT. What is funny is that I had so many at one point that I needed to give some away. So, now my mother-in-law has one, my mom has one (or several), my sister has one... Spreadin' the Word, I tell you. I wonder if there will be a crown in heaven for me for that? Maybe that is pushing it. ;)
Anyway, there is one other small request that Zondervan asked of the 5,000 receipients of the Busy Mom's Bible and that is to write a review on their (mine not Zondervan's) blog and send it in for feedback. So...here we are...
First...here are some pictures of my own Busy Mom's Bible. I figure, if anything is worth a photo, it's certainly the Word of God, right? :)
I'm keeping mine in it's box in order to keep it nice and new and grubby little finger free.
The colors are really great, aren't they? Very girly. In case, you can't tell from my photo, it is light pink and dark pink separated by a chocolate brown stripe down the middle...(I'm even thinking of having mine engraved with my name on it...)
Wouldn't this make an EXCELLENT gift for Easter or Mother's Day for YOUR favorite Busy Mom?

Sweet little decorative devotional pages separated into time allotments...if you have 1 minute to spare, read this...5 minutes, read this...10...you get the idea... Very convenient for a movin' Mama! Eye catching too...for the Mama who loves a little piece of eye candy in her sometimes drabby day. 
Easy to understand NIV version...sorry all you KJV'ers...this Bible is only available in the NIV.
Beautifully soft Italian Duo-Tone (does that mean leather?) 
I personally LOVE this Bible. It has actually been inspiring me to read it, if that's possible. I kid you not. I don't know if it's the pink & brown or the Gerber's or maybe just the fact that this Mama is in desperate need of a spiritual boost but I've been reading it every day since I got it. :) I would absolutely recommend this to any busy Mom (Is there another kind?). 2 thumbs up from me! Though one of those thumbs is currently attached to a hand that is very lovingly rubbing a very sick little baby's back. :(XO
